Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Gaoshi Zaomiao used the phrase 'no change in stance' as a perfunctory excuse. China will never accept Japan's intentions

On December 4th, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian presided over a regular press conference.

A reporter asked, and some media reported that on December 3rd, Japanese Prime Minister Hayao Takashi quoted the "Sino Japanese Joint Declaration" during a plenary session of the Senate, expressing "understanding and respect" for the Chinese government's position that "Taiwan is an inseparable part of Chinese territory". What is China's comment on this?

Lin Jian pointed out that according to verification, the relevant reports are inaccurate.

The attitude of the Chinese side is clear. We urge the Japanese side to reflect and correct their mistakes, and withdraw Prime Minister Takashi's erroneous remarks. "Lin Jian said that in the face of the principle issues that are clearly remembered in historical archives and written in black and white, and in the face of China's repeated questioning and criticism from the domestic and international communities in Japan in recent days, Prime Minister Takashi still only uses the excuse of unchanged position to make perfunctory excuses. China will never accept this.
