On December 4th, local time, advisor to the Ukrainian President's Office, Bevz, revealed that on the same day, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Umerov and Ukrainian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gnatov will receive a briefing on the results of the visit of US envoy Witkov and US President Trump's son-in-law Kushner to Moscow, as well as feedback from discussions with Trump and his team after the visit. Afterwards, Ukrainian President Zelensky will determine the next steps and issue relevant instructions to the negotiation team.
Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Olga Stefanishna announced on the 4th that Umerov will hold talks with Witkov and Kushner in Miami that day. Senior officials of the US government have also confirmed this news.
On November 30th, the delegations of the United States and Ukraine held a about 4-hour meeting in Florida, USA, regarding the Russian Ukrainian "peace plan" proposed by the United States. After the meeting, Umerov posted on social media that the negotiations between Ukraine and the United States in Florida were "difficult but productive".
